Changi Water Reclamation Plant ("CWRP")
Changi Water Reclamation Plant, PUB, Singapore
CWRP is part of the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System implemented by the Singapore government to cater to the local wastewater treatment and disposal needs. This sewerage system project is able to handle 2,400,000 m3 of wastewater treatment per day.
For this project, Metax Engineering was awarded one main contract from PUB and two further sub-contracts from Sembcorp Engineers and Constructors and Koh Brothers Building and Civil Engineering Contractors.
As main contractor, we were the suppliers of engineering and procurement services to the PUB, which includes equipment supply, installation and commissioning as well as providing servicing and maintenance services after the completion of the project and upon operation of the plant. On the technological front, we worked closely with our German partners, Westfalia Separator Umwelttechnik GmbH, who manufactures the thickening and dewatering centrifuges.
